STMY Season 2 Glimpse: Percy's Post

TFC: Thomas, Percy and Oliver, as you already know, the post trains aren't carrying as much as they used to.

Oliver: That's one way of putting it, ma'am.

TFC: Unfortunately, this means the railway can no longer afford to run dedicated mail runs.

Percy [upset]: But...but what about the mail? People will still need to have their letters and parcels delivered.

TFC [reassuringly]: Don't worry, Percy. We'll still be delivering mail. It's just going to be done a little differently.

Thomas: What do you mean, ma'am?

TFC: I've arranged for one post van to be assigned to each branchline, and a pool of four has been set aside for the mainline. They'll be run at the head end of passenger trains, as needed.

Percy [relieved]: I see. That makes sense.

Thomas [jokingly]: You'll be able to sleep in a bit tomorrow, Percy.

Percy [realising]: I suppose I will.

Now that I've got only 'Engines of All Trades' to do, I'm going to take a brief break and do the model for Rheneas.  He'll be having a cameo in The Thin Clergyman.
